In-Network Insurance Plans

Personal Injury Protection (PIP) cases are also accepted.

Out-of-Network Insurance Plans

  • Regence
  • BlueCard plans (out of state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans)
  • Cigna  

While coverage varies between insurance companies, many companies will reimburse some portion of the cost to out-of-network providers. 

We strongly recommend that you check with your insurance company to confirm your benefits and/or coverage for acupuncture treatment. It is your responsibility to know what your insurance plan will cover and what the deductible, prior authorization requirements, maximum number of visits, co-pay and/or co-insurance will be. 

Please call your insurance company before your first appointment and make sure you understand your insurance contract coverage in order to reduce the possibility of unexpected bills.

For patients with insurance coverage, note that you are responsible for any co-pays and also consider that if your deductible has not been met you are responsible for the cost of the visit. Treatments that are not covered by insurance are charged directly to you.

No Insurance?

For patients without insurance, payment for your visit is due at time of service. We accept cash, check, or credit card. 

No-Show and Appointment Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your appointment, free of charge, we require at least 24 hours’ advance notification. This allows us to reschedule the appointment for you and leave that time open for another patient to be seen. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, there will be a charge of $50 per appointment. For appointments with less than 4 hours cancellation notice given, or for no-shows, the full cost of the appointment will be charged. The fee is the patient’s responsibility and is not billable to insurance. 

We do realize that on rare occasions emergencies may arise and we will address these situations with you at that time.
